"Art is an important basis/foundation making Thai youths develop their creative thinking, their art appreciation and personality which form them to be perfect persons in terms of wisdom, thought, emotion, and social skills."
According to this concept, the art department of Chulalongkorn University Demonstration Secondary School has developed the curriculum by focusing on the students’ development. We try to create activities for the students to learn according to their ages, to develop their potential through various art activities and to provide them opportunities to express themselves creatively. In order to build the students’ self-esteem and to develop them via their art- work, we need an appropriate arena for them.
Always concerning the development of the students, we would like to organize the 14th student art exhibition with the concept of “Limitless” in a virtual version to show the ability of art creation of CUD students. The concept “Limitless” is in accordance with the art expression of the students which is creative, free and boundless.
Due to the COVID-19 situation, we cannot organize the real event as usual. However, it is a good opportunity and the first time that we can display a virtual exhibition which is a new aspect/dimension of CUD student’s art exhibition. Moreover, the revenue from the sale of the students’ artwork will be donated for the construction of the Chulalongkorn University Demonstration Secondary School building.
