International and Special Affairs Department of Chulalongkorn University Demonstration Secondary School was founded in 1989 by รองศาสตราจารย์นพพงษ์ บุญจิตราดุลย์; a deputy dean who also was the principal. This department was created as a part of the administrative structure of the school, the department used to be called “Special Activities Department.” Operating on special activities was the goal by coordinating and encouraging bond between the school and other institutions, establishments or associations both internationally and externally, and domestically and internationally. Welcoming the school visitors and also funding and supporting students with lack of funds.

        Since its establishment in 1989 to the present day, the International and Special Affairs Department has always been adapting and developing to the school administrative policy accordingly. Not only the department’s name was changed but also the way to call its executive; 1997 was the year the department’s name changed to “Special Activities and International Relations” and changed the way to call its executive to deputy director of the Special Activities and International Relations Department, there was also the initiation of the assistant deputy director. In the present day, the department is called “International and Special Affairs.”

    Nowadays, the department’s operation has goals of developing students in morals, values, ideology, cultural awareness and monarchy esteem. Blending Thai-ness abroad for every student to live by the school motto “Knowledge and Morality” with happiness in life.

International and Special Affairs Department of Chulalongkorn University Demonstration Secondary School aims to improve students and personnel of the school to excel in knowledge and morality along with the consciousness of Buddhism, royalty to the monarchy and blending Thai-ness abroad to the international level.
