The Planning, Budget and Quality Assurance DepartmentThe Planning, Budget and Quality Assurance Department was founded in 1980 when รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อนันต์ อัตชู was a deputy dean of the Education Faculty and also the principal of the school. It used to be called “Planning and Developing Department” and it has 5 important goals.
- Guiding, encouraging, and adjusting operation plans for administrating the school academically with social services to achieve the maximum benefits.
- Managing and Advising on the effective usage of personnel and buildings to maximize their full potential.
- Suggesting and complying with projects along with existing activities for better planning.
- Connecting not only on each subject department but also managing the operating schedule of the school as a whole.
- Appropriately managing and selecting personnel for training sessions.
Back in 2001, “the Planning and Developing Department” changed its name to “the Planning and Information Technology Department” to correspond with the changes in society. The main policy is to participate in operating and coordinating with other institutions internally and externally on policy and planning, budget, information technology, reporting and publishing. Moreover, evaluating resources in accordance with the new budget policy which focuses on the result. Vision
Focusing on making policies, strategic planning, model scheme/model chart along with quality assurance system and evaluation to efficiently achieve the vision of Chulalongkorn University Demonstration Secondary School.
Mission
- Managing the school’s policies, strategic planning, model scheme/model chart and budget.
- Supporting the school's strategic plans by connecting with the operating work and budget with the systemation evaluation.
- Managing budget to promote strategic missions, physical model scheme, trace the spending of budget and analyze success rate of the budget management to summarize the annual budget.
- Developing the school’s quality assurance system up to the standard as a mechanism for a consistency of quality progression.
- Studying and exploring data to support strategic plans and policies.
- Managing risks which might affect the school’s vision.
- Gathering information data to create an archive and publishing reports.
- Coordinating with Chulalongkorn physical institutions to work on the school’s model scheme effectively.
- Connecting the school with both internal and external institutions.
Goal
The Planning, Budget and Quality Assurance Department’s goal is to support the school; subject departments/student development group, units, administration, teachers and personnel for the adjustment and progressing direction to systematic quality operation. Maximum effectiveness and class management which focuses on students to create knowledge that goes hand in hand with morality for them to sustainably adapt and correspond with the changes in the society.
