About
The Administrative Division of Chulalongkorn University Demonstration Secondary School was established concurrently with the school in 1958 to serve as the administrative unit for governmental administration within the school. The division has been headed by the following individuals holding the highest administrative positions:

Roles and Responsibilities
The Administrative Division is responsible for strategic planning, clerical administration, and the management of human resources and other organizational resources. Its duties include supervising, controlling, taking responsibility for, reviewing, inspecting, recommending, improving, developing, resolving, and making decisions regarding all administrative division work. This also includes fulfilling any duties assigned by the supervisor.
Scope of Work
The work involves supporting the general management and administration of the unit, with core tasks including areas such as Administrative and Clerical System, Personnel Management System, Public Relations System, Finance and Accounting Syste, Procurement System, Document Production System, Educational Technology System, Physical Resource Management System, Nutritional System, Physical Fitness System, School Shop System, etc.
The division executes work according to the school's strategic plan and the school executive's operational plan, which are aligned with the university's strategic plan. It also performs tasks necessary to support internal and external quality assessment. The responsibilities include managing, planning, systematizing work, directing, commanding, delegating, supervising, advising, monitoring results, inspecting, evaluating, coordinating, making decisions, and resolving issues related to the assigned work to achieve the school's objectives. Furthermore, the division handles coordination with the community, the Chulalongkorn University Demonstration School Parent-Teacher Association, and the Chulalongkorn University Demonstration School Alumni Association.
Strategic Planning
The Administrative Division is responsible for defining the division's strategic plan, including goals and key performance indicators, to ensure alignment with the school's mission and the university's strategic plan. It ensures implementation in accordance with the strategic plan and conducts PDCA on the strategic plan of the relevant sections.
General Administration
- Managing the division’s operations and being responsible for the overall success of the administrative unit.
- Establishing guidelines, standards, work systems, and procedures for various matters within the division to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in accordance with the rules, regulations, announcements, and criteria of the School, the Faculty of Education, and the University.
- Delegating, supervising, monitoring, inspecting, and expediting the implementation of the division's plans, projects, and activities, including evaluating performance to achieve predefined goals and outcomes.
- Making judgments, decisions, giving orders, and improving/correcting various operational processes within the responsible unit and ensure that they do not conflict with the rules, regulations, and criteria of the School, the Faculty of Education, and the University, to achieve predefined goals and outcomes.
- Presenting, sourcing information, clarifying facts, and providing opinions or suggestions at various committee and working group meetings.
- Disseminating necessary information and news both internally and externally.
Human Resource Management
- Planning, creating databases, and arranging personnel allocation within the Administrative Division, both quantitatively and qualitatively, in accordance with regulations/rules/announcements, to align with the core mission and strategic plan of the unit.
- Conducting recruitment/retention/termination of both academic and support staff within the unit.
- Promoting and supporting professional development for personnel through training, site visits, and further education at higher levels.
- Assigning annual workloads to direct subordinates, monitoring and evaluating performance against assignments, and ensuring performance evaluations are conducted for personnel at all levels.
- Providing consultation and advice on professional advancement and academic position development, in accordance with regulations, to subordinates.
- Serving as a role model for subordinates, as well as improving or finding ways to create work motivation and unity among all personnel in the Administrative Division.
- Coordinating/publicizing/presenting/clarifying facts/providing opinions or suggestions on human resource management at various appointed or assigned committee and working group meetings.
- Promoting morale and unity in the workplace by efficiently managing welfare, funding, and finance.
Management of Other Resources and Budget
- Planning the utilization of resources and the budget of the Administrative Division in alignment with the unit's policies, mission, and strategic plan. This includes coordinating fundraising for organizational development.
- Monitoring and inspecting the use of resources and the budget to achieve efficiency, value, and aligned with predefined goals and outcomes.
- Presenting, clarifying facts, and providing opinions or suggestions on resource and budget management.
- Systematically integrating information technology into operations.
- Coordinating cooperation with external organizations, such as the Chulalongkorn University Demonstration School Parent-Teacher Association, the Chulalongkorn University Demonstration School Alumni Association, and the surrounding community.
- Managing the physical system of the building to create a positive learning and working atmosphere for students and staffs
- Summarizing the annual budget for every fiscal year
