The Division of Physical and Environment Resources Management of Chulalongkorn University Demonstration Secondary School was established in 2021. The objective of this division is to separate some managing responsibilities from the main Administrative Management. This division plays an important role in managing classes, constructing Chulalongkorn University Demonstration Secondary School buildings, providing the system of utilities and updating effective information technologies and computers. The goal is to facilitate convenience to every teacher, personnel, and student.

The Division of Physical and Environment Resources Management team:

Responsibilities

The Division of Physical and Environment Resources Management has four main responsibilities:

1. Constructing of Chulalongkorn University Demonstration Secondary School Building Project
2. Building Infrastructure Management
3. Organizing Landscape, Environment and Energy
4. Updating Effective Information Technologies and Computers

The Division of Physical and Environment Resources Management works on strategic planning, archives, human, and other resources. Its responsibilities are regulating, considering, verifying, auditing, advising, upgrading, developing, and deciding framework within the division and also complying with orders of the division’s superiors.

Performing Activities

1. Constructing of Chulalongkorn University Demonstration Secondary School Building Project.

          1) Strategic planning of the project

          2) Arranging the meeting for contractors, supervisors, architects, and engineers

          3) Regulating projects which are relating to the building’ construction

• Decommissioning of the library (ESC01)
• Decommissioning of the administrative building (ESC07)
• Constructing of “Sala Dek Dee” building from the library leftover materials near Gate 5

          4) Controlling the outcome of its indicator

          5) Following and evaluating overall picture of this construction project

          6) Managing every school building’s information system

2. Building Infrastructure Management

          1) Strategic planning on management of buildings, vehicles and security

          2) Maintenance of the building, hardware and vehicles

          3) Managing the systems of vehicle service and the usage of parking lot

          4) Managing security system inside and outside of the building

          5) Controlling the outcome of its indicator

          6) Following and evaluating the Building Infrastructure Management

          7) Developing physical and environment resources management system

3. Organizing Landscape, Environment, and Energy

         1) Strategic planning on organizing landscape, environment, and energy

         2) Managing trees and gardens

         3) Maintaining cleanliness

         4) Waste management

         5) Pollution management

         6) Controlling the outcome of its indicator

         7) Developing physical and environment resources management system

         8) Searching for ways of using alternative energy

 4. Updating Effective Information Technologies and Computers

         1) Planning and developing information technologies and computers

         2) Developing internet system

         3) Securing safety for usage of information technologies and computers

         4) Maintaining quality of computers and related equipment

         5) Servicing on information technologies and computers

         6) Lecturing on how to use computer correctly

         7) Developing information technologies and computer managing systems

Moreover, one of the main responsibilities of the Division of Physical and Environment Resources Management is to connect and develop physical and environment resources of the school in accordance with Parent Association, school’s teachers and school’s Alumni Association in order to achieve each goal efficiently.

Strategic Planning

       The Division of Physical and Environment Resources Management works on strategic planning and sets goals for each of its activities with indicator to make everything in line with Chulalongkorn University’s Objectives and Key Results (OKR). The school, along with its strategic planning and everything involved, is evaluated by the PDCA.

Administration

The Division of Physical and Environment Resources Management is divided its administrative work into as follows:

1. Administrative policy and Contribution

Administrative policy and Contribution is implemented by the deputy director and assistant director of the division along with the consultant; plans and policies of each project will be stimulated to support school activities, including the coordination of the Parent Association, school’s teachers and school’s Alumni Association to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

2. Execution

                  The policy will be given to the head of building officer, facility and vehicles officer, and computer center officer on Physical and Environment Resources project on each level as follows:

                    2.1 Execution on buildings and infrastructure maintenance

                   2.2 Execution on hardware and equipment maintenanc

                   2.3 Execution on location for project and ceremony

                   2.4 Execution on cleanliness both inside and outside of buildings

                   2.5 Execution on maintenance of garden and landscape

                    2.6 Execution on the building security

                    2.7 Execution on computer and internet system service

                    2.8 Execution on development of computer and network system
