History
The Vocational Skills and Technology department used to be called “Vocational Skills and Basic Profession” which was separated from the Arts department due to the rule changing from the Ministry of Education in 1981
Then there was an emergence of the Computer department and the Vocational Skills and Basic Profession department due to the rule changing to the Ministry of Education in 2001.
In 2006 the Ministry of Education enforced the new basic rule. It stated that a Computer department must emerge with the vocational skills and Basic Profession department. That was the reason why the name had been changed to “the Vocational Skills and Technology” department under the new system of Chulalongkorn University Demonstration Secondary School.
However, in 2020, the Computer Department moved out to merge with the Science department, so the name was changed again to the “Vocational Skills” department.
